Most definitely worth watching!
(With more to come so Pacey yourself)
It would take you ONE WEEK to get through all the Genies coverage, so here are a few links to give you an idea of what people are saying about the 30th Annual Genie Awards…
First: the dress!

Whilst Joshua was winning acting awards, his boo wins a style award for looking stunning wearing an asymmetrical RM by Roland Mouret Hebe dress from the Spring 2010 collection.
It’s not often we see stripes worn on the red carpet. This is because they tend not photograph too well, and they can be also be unflattering.
Diane has not such drama, as her figure-sculpting cream and black striped jersey dress looks stunning on her.
Diane Kruger may have played a supporting role at the Genie Awards, but she takes top fashion precedence in our eyes. The stunner showed us some hip action in her RM by by Roland Mouret dress.
Two Genie Awards were sponsored by Tribute.ca: Performance by an Actress in a Leading Role to Karine Vanasse (be sure to check out her moving acceptance speech) and Achievement in Direction to Denis Villeneuve for Polytechnique. Check out their coverage from the Genie Awards.
More Diane Kruger (I’m sensing a theme)! Including tips on her how to get her hair.
Lastly thanks to the Honourable James Moore, Minister of Canadian Herirage and Official Languages for this congratulatory message!
More soon!

“I can’t believe I won something!” he said after accepting the award. His girlfriend, Diane Kruger, was there for support like he was for her when she was nominated for best supporting actress Screen Actors Guild Award for her role as Bridget von Hammersmark inInglorious Basterds.

Canadian filmmakers were lauded for their dark portrayals of true events at the 30th Genie Awards on Monday, as front-runner Polytechnique claimed most of the big wins while conjuring painful memories of the Montreal massacre.
A film Canadians were afraid to see about a tragedy that still sears is the toast of the nation’s movie industry, winning nine prizes at the 30th annual Genie Awards.
People are getting very excited about the 30th Annual Genie Awards on Monday! Since it would be unfair to make everyone wait until 9 pm ET to watch the IFC broadcast and CBC.CA webcast (especially given the frenzy over a few of our presenters), we’ve decided to webcast LIVE FROM THE RED CARPET on Monday beginning at 4:30 pm ET. Sign up at the link for an email reminder.
The webcast will be hosted by the talented Dug Stevenson who did such a great job hosting our Toronto Nominee Reception webcast.
